Today is the annual meeting where I work, well, almost where I work. For many years they would clean out a big area and hold the meeting in the plant but now they hold it at the main ice arena. Donuts, rolls, cookies, sub sandwiches, pop, water and coffee are served and there is entertainment and door prizes before the meeting gets under way. The meeting itself is led started with prayer and than the big bosses make their speeches. Last year and this year we have and will receive a ham as a bonus gift as we have not been receiving a cash bonus due to the sluggish building industry.
I've always enjoyed going to the meetings and many of my family have too.
