It's Log Cabin Day and no, I don't live
in a log cabin but I do live in the next closet thing, I think. I
house that has log siding. I know people who live in log houses /
cabins. I know someone who builds them. And I would love to have

Camera Day
I think I can remember my first camera
and it wasn't on a phone and you couldn't see your pictures until
they were developed and the camera had flashbulbs. And I think I
remember my second camera and the film for it was on a disc and I
think the flash was built in by then but it still wasn't digital.
We've had several other camera's since then with our newest ones
being digital. Today is Camera Day and I am thankful for cameras,

Paul Bunyan Day
He is not real but he makes for some
great stories and he made for an okay amusement park. He is Paul
Bunyan the imaginary logger that is huge. Is it possible to be
thankful for someone that does not exist? He may not exist in
reality nut he does exist and over the years I've enjoyed the stories
about him and the amusement park that existed by his name so, yes
I'll be thankful for Paul Bunyan.

Fly A Kite Day
I think it's in Mary Poppins where they
sing song about flying a kite. Today is Fly A Kite Day and the wind
is blowing but I don't have a kite. I do have memories of kite
flying and the fun times had. I still remember putting a kite up so
high it looked like a tiny spec and than it got dark and I couldn't

Ball Point Pen Day
Who uses pens? Who uses ball point
pens? Who can imagine life without them? I use pens almost everyday
and I have to admit that I'm pretty possessive of the ones I use. It
used to be that I would loose a pen before I ran it out of ink, or it
would explode on me but now I use a type of gel pen that I keep close
and run out of ink. Yes, I am thankful for pens, are you?
