Egg Hunt

Growing up as a child I can remember every Easter Sunday getting home from church to go on an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard. The eggs were real and when we were done with them they were turned into deviled eggs and eaten.

Now days we use plastic eggs and often time stuff them with candy but the kids just have fun hiding them and looking for them.

Some towns have Easter egg hunts for kids and have prizes or goodies they can try to find or get when they are done.

Some years at are AWANA group we have an egg hunt as well using the resurrection eggs, the eggs with little trinkets inside to help remind us of Jesus and the Easter story.

What ever you may do when it comes to Easter eggs they have the potential for great fun, something good to eat and a lesson of New Life in Christ.

      Dear Lord, Thank you
  • For the fun memories of Easter egg hunts.
  • For the fun the kids can have playing with the eggs today
