Track & Field Day

Today is Track and Field day at Kitchi Pines between 2 and 2 1/2 hours south of us depending on who's driving and how many stops are needed along the way. Our kids have been participating in the events of the day for many years now and the three older kids all hold a standing long jump record. Most years are kids place in any jumping event the sign up for. - I like to claim we feed them Mexican jumping beans. Along with jumping their is running, hurdles, and throwing events. Of course it's a great time of fellowship as well

This year the oldest three girls are competing while I'm staying home with the boys and the youngest girl. While the kids were having fun - my wife who was bringing them, was going to have some fun to and sneak away and do some shopping.

      Dear Lord, Thank you
  • For those who work to host the Track and Field day
  • For the fun the kids have competing
  • For the fellowship that takes place
